Trump warns Iran will be hit again at ‘much harder and higher level’ if it retaliates to US strikes

In a significant development, US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said American forces are striking Iranian Targets near the Strait of Hormuz, and warned Tehran against retaliation. Taking to Truth Social platform, Trump called US strikes “very justified” in retaliation for the Iranians’ “failed” attempt at adding sea mines to the Strait of Hormuz and launching missiles at American military base in Jordan. Supreme Court quashes FIRs lodged against students during paper leak protests across country

The Supreme Court on Tuesday quashed FIRs registered against students who participated in the recent country-wide protests against alleged paper leaks. The court invoked its powers under Article 142 of the Constitution to provide relief to the protesting students. The order, passed by a bench headed by Chief Justice Suryakant, covers FIRs registered against students in Delhi, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar in connection with the protests.
