Gunshots were heard during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the forest area of Araham in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. The joint operation was launched following specific intelligence inputs about the movement of terrorists in the upper reaches of the Arhama area. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir reached the spot.
