Two MLAs among six injured in a road accident at Delhi’s ITO

Two MLAs including Anil Jha, the current MLA from Kirari, Delhi, and Abhay Patel, a Karnataka MLA were among six people who sustained minor injuries in a road accident at Delhi’s ITO on Sunday night. The accident occurred around 9:30 pm when two cars collided near the PWD office in central Delhi. As per police, a Swift car travelling from Laxmi Nagar towards ITO hit the divider and after crossing the railing, collided with the Innova coming from ITO towards Laxmi Nagar.

Mumbai: Two dead, five injured as Ganpati idol falls during arrival procession in Bhuleshwar

Two people died and five others were injured after a massive Ganesh idol of ‘Bhuleshwaracha Raja’ fell during its arrival procession in Mumbai’s Bhuleshwar area on Saturday night. The incident took place at around 9:51 pm during the arrival ceremony of the Ganesh idol near Kabutarkhana at Jay Ambe Chowk in Bhuleshwar, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

Mitchell Starc becomes leading wicket-taker in WTC history with six-wicket haul; check full list

Australia pacer Mitchell Starc wreaked havoc in the second Test against Bangladesh in Mackay. He claimed a six-wicket haul as Bangladesh were dismissed for only 64 runs in the first innings. With that, Starc became the leading wicket-taker in World Test Championship history. Pat Cummins also improved his standings with a three-wicket haul, climbing to joint-second alongside Nathan Lyon, who was previously at the top. They both claimed 225 wickets each.
