The Food Safety Division of the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department conducted a special inspection drive across paying guest (PG) accommodations in Bengaluru on Friday, following widespread public complaints about poor food quality and unhygienic conditions. The inspection campaign covered PGs across Bengaluru city, Bengaluru Rural and areas under the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA). Officials inspected a total of 64 PG accommodations during the drive.
