India busts three US-sanctioned oil tankers linked to Iran near Mumbai

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has uncovered a major international oil smuggling operation in the western maritime region off Mumbai. In a high-tech mission, three foreign vessels carrying large quantities of oil and oil-based cargo were intercepted and seized. Officials said the ships were allegedly sourcing cheap oil from conflict-affected countries like Russia and Iran and transferring it mid-sea to motor tankers in international waters.

Unnao custodial death case: Delhi HC to hear Kuldeep Sengar’s plea on February 19 after SC direction

Sabarimala women’s entry: 9-judge Supreme Court bench to hear review petitions from April 7

A nine-judge bench of the Supreme Court will start hearing a bunch of petitions against the entry of women at the Sabarimala Temple from April 7. The apex court had in 2018 allowed the entry of women of all ages in the Sabarimala Sree Dharma Sastha Temple dedicated to Lord Ayyappa, ending the decades old practice that barred women from 10 to 50 years of age from entering the shrine.
